Back in 2015, PepsiCo Inc.and Starbucks partnered in the distribution of a number of Starbucks drinks in retail stores, specifically their coffee energy drinks. Now, a recall has been initiated by PepsiCo for a number of those beverages because they may be contaminated with “foreign materials”, specifically metal fragments.

Home Run Inn’s frozen pizza recalled for possibly containing metal
Close to 15,000 pounds of Chicago’s own Home Run Inn frozen pizza has been recalled because it may be contaminated with metal. Cheese, sausage, pepperoni, green and red peppers, and roasted onions. Those were the listed ingredients. Metal of course should never be found on or in someone’s pizza.
Capri Sun Wild Cherry recalled due to presence of cleaning solution
Kraft Heinz, parent company of the kid-favorite plastic-pouch drink Capri Sun, has announced a recall of nearly 6,000 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend pouches. Jif Peanut Butter salmonella contamination no longer a concern
Last month, J.M. smucker recalled nearly 50 Jif peanut butter products linked to a salmonella outbreak. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc) has now declared the outbreak over.
