Some Hostess SnoBalls have been recalled after coconut was not listed as an ingredient

Hostess SnoBalls, you love ‘em...or you hate ‘em. There really is no inbetween is there, folks? Well, one thing that’s not up for debate is the fact that SnoBalls contain coconut, a lot of coconut. Unfortunately, a number of SnoBalls hit store shelves in packaging that didn’t indicate they contained coconut. So a voluntary recall has been issued by Hostess Brands, LLC.

Recalled Product:

Hostess SnoBalls (single serve)

UPC - 888109010096

Batch - 1031321000

Best by date - May 27, 2021

Now as SnoBall eaters and non-eaters alike can attest, they do in fact contain coconut. However, the above recalled SnoBalls came in packaging that read “Frosted Chocolate Cake with Creamy Filling”, with nary a mention of the copious amounts of coconut. These recalled balls of snow were distributed to retailers nationwide. Fortunately, so far no illnesses or injuries have been reported. Customers that purchased the recalled SnoBalls can return them to their place of purchase for a refund.
