Gummy varieties of Skittles, Starburst, and Life Savers recalled due to possible presence of metal

Mars Wrigley Confectionery U.S, LLC has issued a recall for more than a dozen varieties of “gummies” branded fan favorite candies. These candies include SKITTLES Gummies, STARBURST Gummies, and LIFE SAVERS Gummies.

The recall was issued after customers reported their findings to Mars. The recalled products were manufactured by a 3rd party in North America, and distributed across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Recalled products can be identified by the 10 digit manufacturing code located on the back of the package. Just the first 3 digits of the 10 digit code are necessary for identification. So while more than a dozen varieties are being recalled, you can identify those being recalled with the codes below.

132-134, 139-140, 144-147, 149, 151, 152, 201

For a comprehensive list of the recalled products, you can visit the link below. Mars Wrigley Confectionery has already started the process with retailers to have the products removed from store shelves. So far, Mars isn’t aware of any reported illnesses or injuries related to this recall.
