Listeria monocytogenes can lead to listeriosis. Listeriosis is concerning, and can make you ill in spite of being in good health. However children, elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are most vulnerable. For those groups and pregnant mothers, listeria does pose a greater risk.

The UPC and Best If Used By Date is located on the upper right hand corner of the bags. The Best If Used By Date has come and gone for each of the 4 recalled varieties, however it’s still possible a few of us have these in our refrigerators. If you’re still holding on to any of these recalled salads, they should be returned to your retailer or discarded. No other Dole products are part of this recall.
