1 lot of Allergy Bee Gone Nasal Swab Remedy recalled over yeast & mold concerns

Tests conducted by the United States Food and Drug Administration, of Buzzagogo Inc.’s Allergy Bee Gone’s Nasal Swab Remedy, found that a single lot contained “elevated levels of yeast and mold”. There’s a distinct possibility that it contained the bacteria known as Bacillus cereus as well.

As the FDA explains it, immunocompromised people are in danger of suffering “life-threatening reactions” to coming into contact with elevated levels of yeast or mold, as well as Bacillus cereus. If you have any concerns about the use of theis recalled product, the FDA advises you to contact your primary care physician immediately. 

Allergy Bee Gone’s Nasal Swab Remedy was distributed nationwide to wholesalers and retailers. It was sold online through the company’s website and on Amazon.com as well. Parent company Buzzagogo has already begun the process of notifying its distributors as well as customers by email. They’re also working on getting distributors and customers to return the recalled product or receive a replacement.
