Tiger Nuts Flour recalled over salmonella concerns

Nearly 500 pounds of Tiger Nuts flour is being recalled due to salmonella contamination concerns. The flour is manufactured in New York, but was distributed in Oregon, Missouri, and online. The recalled flour was sold in 2.2 lbs Kilo Boxes.

Tiger Nuts Inc. first became aware of the issue when their Spanish nut growers were informed by a customer in Germany of the presence of salmonella. Salmonella typically leads to headaches, diarrhea, and other minor issues. However, for the young, elderly, or those with weakened immune systems, it can be deadly. So far, no illnesses or injuries have been reported related to this recall.
