Half a million pounds of Wayne Farms chicken recalled because it may be undercooked
The Department of Agriculture’s Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) announced this week that more than half a million pounds of pre-cooked chicken is being recalled because it may be undercooked. Wayne Farms out of the State of Alabama is the manufacturer.
The recalled chicken was manufactured between February 9, 2022 and April 30, 2022. The recalled chicken was distributed nationwide and sold in retailers located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Viginia. The product codes for the recalled chicken are 23618, 24357, 24512, 24583, and 24957.

That recall has now been expanded to cover 585,030 pounds of chicken, as of the time of writing. Fox Business reached out to Wayne Farms for a comment on the recall, but as of the time of writing, has not received a response.
