While it will certainly sicken you, salmonella isn’t often too dangerous for the young and healthy. Unfortunately, those children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems are at risk for serious and sometimes fatal illnesses if they contract salmonella. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Vegpro do note that at this time, no other Vegpro products have been recalled, so should be considered safe to consume. That includes any other Fresh Attitude products.

The possible contamination of baby spinach is what led to the investigation and recall. If you purchased the recalled product, you should discard it or return it to your retailer for a refund.
