Canyon Bakehouse whitebread and bagels recalled due to presence of gluten
Canyon Bakehouse Mountain White Bread and Canyon Bakehouse Everything Bagels, distributed to more than a dozen states, have been recalled due to the potential presence of gluten. The consumption of gluten by those with an allergy, sensitivity, or celiac disease can be serious. So far, no illnesses have been reported.

The Lot Number and UPC should help you identify if you have the recalled product. The Lot Number can be found on the plastic tag that seals the package. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, “finished product testing revealed the possible presence of gluten.” The 2 recalled products were shipped to retailers in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.
