Cece’s Veggie Co. Ramen recall linked to Almark Foods listeria recall

A new week brings with it another recall related to the Almark Foods listeria recall. This time, Veggie Noodle Co. LLC has issued a voluntary recall of Cece’s Veggie Co. Fresh Veggie Ramen with Chicken Broth. The eggs used in the recalled noodles were provided by Almark Foods, and have been recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

Recalled Product:

Cece’s Veggie Co. Fresh Veggie Ramen with Chicken Broth

Size - 11.5 oz

UPC - 5228700653

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recalled product is technically only the “separately packaged egg (branded Peckish)”. Out of an abundance of caution though, the entire product has been voluntarily recalled by Veggie Noodle Co. As of now, no illnesses have been reported, and this is the only product being recalled by Veggie Noodle Co.

If you’ve purchased the recalled product, you should throw it out or return it to your retailer for a refund. If you have questions regarding this recall, Veggie Noodle Co. can be reached at (512) 200-3337 (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central) or by email at info@cecesveggieco.com.
