A popular skincare product is part of nationwide FDA recall.
First Aid Beauty has issued a recall for more than 2,700 jars of Ultra Repair Cream. It's sold across the country on the First Aid Beauty site and major retailers like Target, Ulta, Sephora and Amazon.
Recall Details:
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
- Issue: Potential contamination with harmful bacteria.
- Action: Affected products are being recalled.
- Retailers Affected: Available nationwide through First Aid Beauty's website and major retailers like Target, Ulta, Sephora, and Amazon.
- Details: Consumers are advised to check their products and discontinue use if affected.
The FDA issued a Class II recall, meaning there could be a moderate health risk. Problems caused would likely be temporary or reversible, and the likelihood of a severe complication is slim.
Batches that were supposed to be quarantined were shipped instead, and First Aid Beauty started the recall in December.
