2-Butoxyethanol is a colorless liquid with a mild odor. It's used a a solvent in paint strippers, thinners. Though it can also be found in household cleaners. As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes, exposure to 2-Butoxyethanol can harm your eyes, skin, kidneys, and blood.
