The presence of the undeclared allergens is believed to have been the result of a “packaging error at the store”, according to Giant Eagle. These recalled pretzels were sold in a few locations: Sweet Shoppe department in the Township of Pine Market District, the Settler’s Ridge Market District in Pennsylvania, and the Portage Crossing Market District in Ohio. A guest that purchased the recalled products alerted Giant Eagle to the issue.
If you purchased the recalled products, you can dispose of them or return them to your local Giant Eagle store for a refund. You can also reach Giant Eagle’s Customer Care team by phone at 1-800-553-2324. Their hours of operation are M-F from 9am - 9pm.
