Trail mix sold at Aldi recalled due to undeclared almonds

Kanan Enterprises has issued a recall of their “Southern Grove On the Go Sweet & Salty Trail Mix” sold in more than a dozen Aldi stores, due to undeclared almonds. The 1.5 oz packages were sold in boxes of 8, with a Best By date of July 27, 2021.

The consumption of undeclared almonds could be not only dangerous, but life threatening for this with severe allergies. Fortunately, so far no illnesses or injuries have been reported. The recalled trail mix was distributed to Aldi stores in the following states: CT, DE, FL, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV. If you’ve purchased this recalled product, you should return it to your local Aldi store for a full refund.
