Presence of undeclared pine nuts leads to hummus recall
Cedar’s Organic Mediterranean Hommus, distributed in nearly 2 dozen states, has been recalled by the manufacturer due to undeclared pine nuts. A recall was issued after Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods learned that the incorrect back label was used during the packaging process.

The consumption of pine nuts by those with tree nut allergies can be dangerous, sometimes even resulting in a serious or life threatening allergic reaction. Fortunately, so far no illnesses have been reported. At this time, no other Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods have been recalled.
