Potential milk allergen leads to recall of 4 varieties of juices

If you’re allergic to milk, juice might be an easy beverage to turn to. Well if you’re a fan of H-E-B’s Hill County Fare Pink Lemonade, Citrus Punch, Fruit Drink, or Grape Drink juices you’re going to want to avoid those sold in one gallon containers for a little while. H-E-B recently issued a voluntary recall of the above juices because of “the potential presence of a milk allergen”.

The recalled products were sold in H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico, as well as Joe V and Mi Tienda stores. Like peanuts, individuals suffering from milk allergies can experience serious and sometimes life-threatening allergic reactions upon consumption. The recalled products have been removed from the stores and no illnesses have so far been reported. If you purchased the recalled products they should be returned to your retailer for a full refund.
