However, there are steps your family can take to ensure those toxins don’t make it into your children’s bodies. One of the easiest ways is to check the material used to make the toys. Products made of “natural woods, non-toxic paints, and organic cotton are all materials used to make many safer toy alternatives.” The toys should also clearly state that products are “safe for children to breathe in, touch their skin, and put in their mouths”.
